Each morning, as is the custom throughout the Order,  the Recollects at the provincial residence in West Orange, New Jersey, gather to pray the Liturgy of the Hours and to meditate in common. In an effort to more actively pray for an increase of vocations to the province and to the Order, the friars have incorporated Exposition of The Blessed Sacrament to this Morning Prayer. Beneath the gaze of the Eucharistic Lord, the Religious pray, sing, and meditate, asking the good God to send new membership into their ranks.
Thursdays in West Orange take on an even greater Eucharistic awareness as members of the Secular Augustinian Recollect Fraternity, friends, and neighbors join the friars at the monastery for an extended period of Eucharistic adoration with the intention of praying for an increase of vocations. Prominent among the adorers, due to her faithfulness to this prayer, is long-time friend and former secretary at the monastery, Regina Zielinski.
